A symbol for breast cancer awareness, the pink ribbon became recognized almost two decades ago. The pink ribbon symbol was created by a breast cancer survivor Charlotte Haley. The first ribbons original color was a peach color, which over time was changed to pink. Depicted here with the “cancer ribbon tattoo” is a branch of the cherry blossom with flowers and petals.
